The winners of the Novgorod region weightlifting championship were determined in Veliky Novgorod. This was reported in the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city administration.
The competitions were held on the basis of the Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 2, and more than 50 weightlifters from Veliky Novgorod, Batetsky and Kulotino took part in them.
In the overall classification, Dmitry Klimushin from Novgorod won. Ivan Neudachin from Kulotino took second place, and the representative of Veliky Novgorod, Vladislav Belkin, also won a bronze medal. Natalya Mosina from the Novgorod CrossFit club took the lead in the women’s overall competition.
