The Savelovsky Court of Moscow has determined the place where the grandfather of the wife of the famous artist and popular singer Oleg Gazmanov is buried. The case is unique in its own way, since it was possible to establish the place of burial by indirect signs – based on the memoirs of Marina Muravyova-Gazmanova’s mother.

As it became known to “MK”, the grandfather of the wife of the pop star went through the entire Great Patriotic War, but on the way home from the front he fell seriously ill. He was sent to the hospital, but on November 12, 1945, the veteran died. The participant of the war was buried at the Danilovsky cemetery. Marina’s grandmother regularly visited her husband’s grave, but in 1980 she was gone. Gazmanov’s wife learned from her mother that a cross and a tablet with grandfather’s data were installed on the burial site, and also found out where the last refuge was approximately located. But, apparently, from time to time the data on the tablet was erased, and it was not possible to identify the burial. Cemetery workers considered the verbal description of the grave and the “nameless” tablet as insufficient grounds to recognize the right to the plot for the artist’s wife.

Marina Gazmanova had to go to court. And the servants of Themis considered the evidence presented sufficient. Thus, the grave of the hero of the Second World War has found a specific address.
