The wife of scientist Alexander Tsvetkov, released from pre-trial detention center by order of the Zamoskvoretsky court, commented on this decision to MK. Let us remind you that Tsvetkov was in a pre-trial detention center on charges of four murders, which he allegedly committed 20 years ago.
“This is the hope that everything will end. And it will end well. There is no full awareness yet. But the whole village and the whole country are already aware. Everyone calls, writes, cries, laughs. This must be happiness! – Tsvetkova told MK. – I’m going to Moscow for him at night. For now he will be with friends.”
Today, the Zamoskvoretsky court granted the investigation’s request to change Tsvetkov’s preventive measure from detention to a ban on certain actions. This happened a week after human rights activist Eva Merkacheva told Head of State Vladimir Putin about the situation with the scientist at the Human Rights Council under the President.
