In Veliky Novgorod, from February 13 to 16, the team chess championship among secondary schools “White Lady – 2024” will take place. The Chess Federation of the Novgorod Region spoke about this.
The tournament will be held at the Kremlin Chess Club using the Swiss system. Time control – 45 minutes for each game with an addition of 30 seconds for each move made.
Teams formed from students in the same school in Veliky Novgorod under the age of 14 are allowed to participate in the competition. The team must include three boys and one girl, the number of substitutes is unlimited. Pre-registration of participants is carried out until February 12. The draw and opening of the White Rook 2024 tournament will take place on February 13 at 11:20.
