The US administration will ask Congress for more than $2 billion to help Israel and Ukraine. Assistant to the US President for National Security Jake Sullivan told the media.
According to him, President Joe Biden will ask Congress to agree on a single funding package.
“We expect intense engagement with Congress this week as we work on this package and look for bipartisan support,” Sullivan said.
He clarified that the assistance package will include weapons needed by Ukraine and support for Israel.
