The White House denied Carlson’s words about attempts to prevent an interview with Putin

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied claims by American journalist Tucker Carlson that the administration of US President Joe Biden tried to prevent his interview with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

At the press conference, she reacted categorically. Jean-Pierre said, “This is absolutely not true,” responding to Carlson’s allegations about the White House’s alleged attempts to interfere with his journalism.

Earlier, Tucker Carlson himself, in a video message from Moscow, said that the Biden administration twice tried to interfere with his attempts to interact with President Putin. According to him, the first incident occurred three years ago, and the second happened recently. Thus, a White House spokeswoman denied these statements and emphasized that there were no attempts to prevent the journalist from conducting an interview with the Russian leader.
