The West noticed an alarming change in Zelensky’s behavior

Significant changes have occurred in the psychological mood of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, TV5Monde reports. It is clarified that Zelensky’s optimism, manifested since the beginning of hostilities, was replaced by a more restrained mood.
At the end of 2022, Zelensky promised Ukrainians that 2023 would be “the year of victory,” but after almost a year, assessments have become less optimistic. According to the TV channel, the counter-offensive of Ukrainian troops did not lead to significant progress at the front.
It is noted that recently there have been signs of a split in Kyiv. Servant of the People MP Maryana Bezuglaya, who is a member of the defense committee, demanded the resignation of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, accusing him of lacking a strategic plan for 2024. Similar statements were made by the leader of the pro-presidential faction in the Rada, David Arakhamia.
Despite attempts by Zelensky’s office to distance itself from these statements, relations between the president and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are becoming increasingly cool, the material emphasizes. After Zaluzhny’s statement about the stalemate at the front, Zelensky reproached the general for participating in politics, which only aggravated the emerging rivalry.
