The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation proposed changing the organization of medical examinations for citizens who have diseases that “do not have a significant impact on the ability to perform the duties of military service.”
How writes RBC, the text says that the proposal was drawn up “including taking into account the experience of the military operation.” The publication notes that information on the preparation of the corresponding draft government decree was published in the database of draft documents, but the text itself is not there.
The document card says that the project is “aimed at improving the health requirements of citizens” who are subject to conscription, who also enter contract service or into specialized universities, enter “the mobilization human reserve” or are called up for training camps.
The document is expected to amend the Regulations on Military Medical Examination, which, among other things, stipulates the diseases for which citizens are assigned a category of fitness for military service.
