Bloomberg: The West may transfer 800 thousand shells to Kyiv in the coming weeks
How reports Bloomberg agency, citing informed government sources, Western countries may soon transfer 800 thousand artillery shells to Ukraine.
“Ukraine’s allies have committed nearly all the funding needed for a Czech-led initiative to purchase hundreds of thousands of artillery shells… The shells could be delivered to Ukraine within weeks,” the report said.
The exact timing will depend on the contract and delivery schedules and may change, the agency notes.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, during a joint press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, said that “there is positive progress regarding the Czech initiative.”
