Szijjarto praises Scholz for deciding not to send Taurus missiles to Ukraine

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto praised German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s decision in response to the release of a secret conversation between Bundeswehr officers.

“What the chancellor says is much more important than what some military men allegedly say… Scholz behaved very responsibly in this regard, making it clear that Germany would not supply any Taurus-type missiles to Ukraine,” the foreign minister said Hungary.

He also added that he considers this decision to be “very reasonable behavior.”
