Frosts are expected in the Moscow region next weekend.
The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, told the Moscow agency about this.
On the night of Saturday, September 16, to Sunday, September 17, the air temperature may drop to minus 2 degrees in some areas of the capital and region. However, daytime temperatures will remain high and reach 20 degrees on Sunday.
The forecaster explained that the frosts are associated with the activity of an anticyclone, which will lead to “partly cloudy weather and strong cooling.”
