Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, said that in Moscow “the thaw is reaching its maximum,” saying that the Russian capital will be under the influence of the warm sector of the cyclonic vortex.
On December 30, in Moscow it is expected from plus 1 to plus 3, in the Moscow region from minus 1 to plus 4. The weather will be cloudy, the southwest wind will reach 4–9 meters per second, and the atmospheric pressure will be below normal, Leus said in his Telegram channel.
Rain is expected mainly at the beginning and end of the day, with some sleet in some places. Some areas will remain icy.
