Vilfand: on Thursday the temperature in Moscow will drop to minus 12 degrees
In the coming days, cold air masses from the north will begin to arrive in Moscow, said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.
On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the temperature is already from minus 7 to minus 12. And daytime temperatures, according to Vilfand, will be in the range from minus 1 to minus 6 degrees.
On Thursday frosts down to minus 12 are expected, in the Moscow region real cold – down to minus 18 degrees.
The meteorologist noted that spring began with April weather, but within the first week in Moscow they will remember January weather.
