The water level in the Urals in the Orenburg region rose to 931 cm by 22:00 local time. This is 1 cm higher than the dangerous level. The level of the Urals in Orsk dropped by 21 cm, to 907 cm. Governor Denis Pasler called on residents of Orenburg to evacuate from flooded areas cities.

“The water level in the Ural River in Orenburg exceeded the dangerous level and amounted to 931 cm. I urge you to be careful and promptly evacuate from flooded areas,” wrote Denis Pasler in Telegram channel.

This evening due to a sharp rise in water levels in the Urals evacuated Kuznechny microdistrict, which is located on the right bank of the river, a kilometer from the cultural center of the city.

At the moment, 6.5 thousand people, including 1.5 thousand children, have been evacuated from flooded areas in the region. In total, 495 temporary accommodation centers have been deployed in the region for more than 82 thousand people. There are 136 patients in medical temporary accommodation facilities from medical facilities flooded with flood water.
