The Voronezh crematorium resumed normal operation, Kommersant was told in the press service of PJSC Voronezh Funeral Home. From today, December 5, the acceptance of applications for cremation and farewell ceremonies has resumed.
The work of the crematorium was suspended October 21. The company installed a Czech-made Tabo CS oven, which needed repair. The crematorium found it difficult to predict the timing of its holding due to sanctions.
“One of the system modules was replaced and a partial repair of the main chamber was carried out. Engineers and technical specialists of the crematorium worked, as well as specialists from Renovo-Service LLC, which is the official representative of the Tabo CS manufacturing company in Russia,” the funeral home said.
The Voronezh crematorium has been operating since January 2020. In September, the Afisha Daily edition included it in the top 20 main architectural objects of Russia in the 21st century.
