The American corporation Google in the new version of Android 15 is going to completely change the volume control panel. Mentions of this found in the beta version of Android 15 Developer Preview 2.

The design of the volume panel has not changed since the ninth version of Android and has not changed even with the advent of the new standard design of all Google Material You products in 2021 in Android 12. The new panel will still have five volume sliders: calls, media, notifications , calls and alarm, however, the thickness of the sliders will increase significantly for ease of use. A dot will appear near the maximum possible volume; clicking the button next to the media volume slider will expand or collapse the panel. When playing files, the panel will automatically collapse.

The new version does not have the “sound and vibration” section; now there is a multimedia output shortcut, which previously appeared only during active playback. This is done in order to show the user which audio device is currently active. New animations have appeared, and it is also possible that spatial audio control and noise control will be added to the panel.
