The villagers opposed the transfer of four children to the family of a suspect in the murder of their mother

Residents of a village in the Sverdlovsk region are still discussing the brutal murder of their fellow villager Lyubov, in which her ex-husband is suspected. The mother of five children, who disappeared on December 22, was found dead in the forest with signs of strangulation. The children are now in an orphanage. Their fate will be decided by the guardianship authorities. The children are claimed by both grandmothers, on the maternal and paternal lines. The mother of the accused, Raisa, has already written an application for guardianship. But the villagers collected signatures against the transfer of children to her.

In total, 36-year-old Lyubov has five children; the eldest son from his first marriage lived separately from his mother and stepfather in Yekaterinburg (he studies and works there). The ex-husband continued to live on the same square with Lyubov and their four children (14, 10, 8 and 4 years old), despite the divorce – they divorced two months before the murder. As MK previously wrote, according to the stories of acquaintances of the family, Alexander at some point began to be wildly jealous of his wife. And sometimes beat her. But Alexander loved his children very much. And he didn’t even touch them.

On the 20th of December, a woman gathered in the city of Rezh to find a rented apartment and move there with her children. Because of this, the former spouses once again quarreled. Alexander did not want to part with the children. Presumably, on the basis of a quarrel, he strangled Lyuba, and took the body out and threw it in the forest. He is now in custody for two months.

When Alexander was detained, the children were taken by his mother Raisa. But the guys spent only one night at their grandmother’s, and the next day the guardianship authorities sent them to the social center of the city of Alapaevsk. Raisa has already applied for custody of her grandchildren. Now she and her husband are preparing for the medical examination.

But many villagers do not like this scenario.

“I can’t say that the whole village, but most of the inhabitants are opposed to Raisa, so that she would be given to raise children,” a village resident who was well acquainted with the deceased told MK. – People collected signatures against (total 300 signatures) and handed them over to the administration and guardianship. The essence of the appeal is that the woman who raised the “killer” cannot be trusted to raise children.

I can’t say that Rai’s grandmother doesn’t love her grandchildren. She loves them… But she always disliked Lyuba, she never even called her by her first name, they had a bad relationship. And now she sets up the children so that they refuse to go to that grandmother, but tell everyone what they want to see her. Both of them love their grandchildren equally…

“Unlike Alexander’s relatives, Lyuba’s mother Lyudmila, the second grandmother, is a cultured woman,” continued the husband of our interlocutor. “And it’s better to give her the kids.” But Lyuba’s relatives are quiet, calm. And about people like Raisa, they say that they will go over their heads. They act with force. I have been talking with this family for many years and I know that Raisa ruined their lives… She always turned her son against Lyuba.

“You know, he took the life of a bright, good person,” says a friend, barely holding back tears. – Lyuba loved him … She hoped that, now, she would give birth to one, second child, and everything would work out for them. She also loved children very much. And now they are left without mom and dad …

The mother of the deceased, Lyudmila, also believes that the children should be kept away from that family, otherwise, as she says, “it is not known what will grow out of them.” “Raisa only needs money,” she says. – I sat with my grandchildren for money, my daughter told me. After all, I worked in shifts, I could not sit with them all the time … ”.

Although Lyudmila is retired, she continues to work as a milkmaid on a farm. Unlike Raisa, she has not yet applied for custody of her grandchildren. “When I came to their shelter, I asked: “Will you come to me?” – says Lyudmila. – Everyone was silent, and the eldest began: “I won’t go, we are at Granny Rai’s.” And he keeps repeating: “Dad didn’t kill”…

Raisa assures that the signatures collected by fellow villagers are indifferent to her, and they will not play any role. “Everyone in the village knows very well that children were brought up with us from birth,” she says. “The family doesn’t need them. Everyone knows that my children will be better than theirs, my grandchildren are attached to me, I will do everything for them.

In the meantime, the guys are in the Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children of Alapaevsk. And we contacted the center to find out how they feel there.

“The kids are in a fairly good mood,” Olga Rashchektaeva, director of the Gimeney center, told MK. – Now they have classes … I can’t say anything about their future fate, this is decided by guardianship. We do not talk about this with the children, I think that, of course, the wishes of the children will be taken into account, this is the most important thing.

Meanwhile, the relatives of the suspect Alexander still do not believe that he could have killed Lyuba. Earlier, his sister Maria expressed confidence to MK that “the police forced him to take the blame.” She also added that Alexander did not beat his wife, but “only raised his hand to her before the divorce, because he read her correspondence with her boyfriend.” She emphasized to us that “children love dad very much and do not believe that he is to blame.”

However, there are no other suspects at this time.
