In Moscow, the Victory Parade ended on Red Square. It lasted about 45 minutes and passed without an air part – its cancellation was not announced in advance. During the parade, Soviet T-34 and T-85 tanks, Yars, S-400 and Iskander-M missile systems passed through Red Square
At the end of the ceremony, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke to the veterans before heading to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden, accompanied by foreign leaders who attended the parade.
The leaders of seven countries came to the Victory Parade: the presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the prime minister of Armenia. The parade is also attended by units involved in the military operation in Ukraine.
In 2022, the parade lasted an hour. He passed without an air unit due to bad weather. Foreign leaders did not attend the event last year.
