The Valery Vostrotin kettlebell lifting tournament opened in Moscow

Competitions for the Cup of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in kettlebell lifting named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General Valery Vostrotin, opened on November 8 in Moscow, at the CSKA Sports Palace. The tournament is organized by the Union of Russian Paratroopers and CSKA. Military personnel of the Russian Army, including female military personnel, take part in the competition. The competition participants captivated the audience not only with their high results, but also with their charming appearance. Among the weightlifters there are members of the SVO.
The opening ceremony was attended by the leader of the Union of Russian Paratroopers, Valery Vostrotin, as well as the chairman of DOSAAF of Russia, Colonel General Alexander Kolmakov. The military athletes were congratulated by young paratroopers from Yaroslavl, led by combat veteran Andrei Palachev.
