The US State Department is providing Ukraine with $7 million in aid to restore cultural heritage.
It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the department.
The initiative was designed to support Ukraine’s efforts to protect and restore damaged Ukrainian cultural heritage sites and collections, and to expand and strengthen public-private partnerships with civil society in Ukraine.
According to State Department representatives, the initiative will be implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukrainian public organizations and international partners. The main attention will be paid to cultural heritage sites and collections affected by military operations.
