Mobilization, drones, ammunition: three military experts named the most critical moments of the NWO

Mobilization, drones, ammunition: three military experts named the most critical moments of the NWO

Director of the Air Defense Museum Colonel Yuri Knutov.

1. The tactics that were used at the beginning of the NWO have changed in many ways. Some practices had to be abandoned. The tactics that are now being used by our troops are more typical of military operations aimed at attrition of the enemy.

The main task of the NWO is to demilitarize the Ukrainian regime. And indeed, by the end of summer – the beginning of autumn, we completed this task. We physically destroyed up to 95% of military equipment and weapons of the Ukrainian army. Then Soviet military equipment of the former Warsaw Pact appeared on the battlefield. It was taken from the warehouses of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Baltic countries and other NATO countries. We also demilitarized it.

Now we see that the demilitarization of new NATO equipment is beginning. It must be admitted that this is a huge resource, and it will not be so easy to demilitarize this equipment.

We are conducting regular military operations, destroying enemy manpower. At one time, European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen announced the loss of 100,000 Ukrainians. American experts called 250 thousand. I believe that a more realistic figure is about 170-180 thousand. In any case, these are catastrophic losses in manpower for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

2. Ukraine is currently receiving four howitzers from Sweden. It would seem that they can decide? But these are Archer howitzers with a range of 70 kilometers.

HIMARS, which are also in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have a range of 80 kilometers. The “ground” planning bomb GLSDB, which is promised to be delivered to Ukraine, has a range of 110 kilometers. These are all very serious weapons.

We, unfortunately, there is some gap in weapons with a range of 25 to 100 kilometers.

At least, such means of destruction are not enough. They are now, as a rule, replaced by “kamikaze” drones. Therefore, we need to increase the production of such long-range rocket systems as the Tornado-S, and individual-guided missiles similar to HIMARS with a range of 120 kilometers. It is simply necessary.

We can also note the tactical strikes that we inflict on the enemy, disabling his key infrastructure facilities related to the generation of electricity for military units, defense enterprises and other networks. This is a successful and correct operation. But in the near future, it is also necessary to join strikes against other infrastructure – bridges, tunnels, railway junctions, roads. These are the logistical routes by which weapons and military equipment are delivered to the east of Ukraine.

Stanislav Krapivnik, former US Army soldier.

1. On the positive side, I can note that unreliable supply schemes were identified in time. It is very good that these problems came out during the NWO, and not during a full-scale war with NATO. We have time to fix and change everything. Moreover, the process of correction is already in full swing.

The same can be said about partial military mobilization. She showed that there are many problems in the system. Still, we have not had full-scale military operations for 80 years. And it is also very good that the errors were not detected in the most critical situation. It is better to fix it now, when 1% needs to be mobilized, and not when 30-40% of the reservists need to be mobilized. In time, the prosecutor’s office got involved, which moved the bureaucratic machine that operated in some military registration and enlistment offices.

In addition, the process of replacing weapons has gone faster in the army. We have already mobilized military-industrial production, which is working to its fullest. We already produce more shells than all of NATO put together. The same can be said about the air defense system. Objectively, we have the best in the world.

Another big plus is that our servicemen get real combat experience. Many of them not only adapted, but, as they say, got their hands on it, became real professionals.

2. This is my favorite topic, I talk about it all the time. We lack a corps of professional sergeants. There is a corps of professional sergeants in many armies of the world and, apparently, for a reason. Such a corps has already been created in their army by Ukrainians, Bulgarians, Romanians.

Professional sergeants are the backbone of the army and most of the issues that officers now have to deal with can be handled by sergeants. You simply did not see the difference, so you cannot imagine how professional sergeants affect the combat quality of troops.

If there is political will, such a corps can be created very quickly. Moreover, there are people with combat experience. For this, schools are being created, where they begin to intensively “pump” people. The first junior sergeants can appear in six months, if it is really necessary, then in four months. Experienced sergeants can then pass on their experience themselves. If the system is 70% working, then consider that it already exists.

Alexey Leonkov, military expert, editor of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine.

1. The Russian army has regained combat experience, which we last acquired only during local conflicts, such as the Afghan war or the operation in Syria. But those hostilities did not always affect all types and types of troops. Therefore, combat experience is always better than combat training at training grounds.

Of course, the beginning of the NMD was difficult, but by the end of the year, appropriate conclusions were made that made it possible to rebuild the army, its tactics and strategy, and increase the contingent of troops through partial military mobilization. Just partial mobilization has become a feature of the NWO, because the last time we carried out mobilization was 80 years ago. Naturally, mobilization became a new test that we managed to pass.

In addition, many innovations that were previously considered purely theoretical have been tested in practice. These are also reconnaissance and strike control loops, when artillery and a multiple launch rocket system, interacting with drones, deliver high-precision strikes against enemy positions. This is work on the opening and destruction of air defense systems; the use of high-precision cruise, hypersonic missiles. All this is a new tactic that the Russian army did not use in combat conditions. She learned this in the course of hostilities and now successfully uses this tactic to solve her tasks.

2. During the NMD, we had to transfer the military-industrial complex practically on a war footing. And this process took place in parallel with the partial military mobilization, during which we had to equip, arm 300,000 servicemen, equip them with military equipment and weapons and send them to the line of contact. All this was carried out simultaneously with military supplies for units that were on the line of contact. This extremely difficult task was solved thanks to the vigorous activity of the government, which formed a special committee to provide the troops with everything necessary for the NWO.

However, it should be noted that we were not ready for some types of military activities. For example, to aerial reconnaissance. By relying on drones, we did not expect that the integrated air defense system of Ukraine would work against drones and that drones would become consumables that need to be replenished by hundreds or even thousands.

In addition, the production of those drones that were not provided for in the state defense order was required, I mean ultra-small reconnaissance drones that are used during urban battles and contact battles on the line of contact.

Our industry has not dealt with such drones. There was also a shortage of thermal imagers, not only for reconnaissance, but also for sniper work day and night.

After the entry of the new republics into the Russian Federation, it became clear that the Russian army must be provided not only with special military armored equipment, but also with general and special-purpose equipment. Volunteers initially took responsibility for this. But now the Public Popular Front and other organizations are operating, which are increasing their assistance by placing orders in areas of the economy that relate to the civilian population.
