NYT Columnist Caldwell: Confiscation of Russian assets would seriously harm the US
New York Times columnist Christopher Caldwell said the idea of confiscating Russia’s frozen assets and transferring them to Kyiv would seriously harm the United States.
He clarified that due to the consequences of such a decision, the White House risks feeling an “unprecedented attack of pain” from the 34 trillion national debt.
According to the author, earlier Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson supported the idea of confiscating Russian frozen assets.
