The US Senate named the amount spent on Ukraine over ten years

Since 2014, US authorities have spent $300 billion on Ukraine. This statement was made on Tuesday, April 9, by Senator Tommy Tuberville.

This statement was made during a hearing in the US Senate Armed Services Committee. However, the Pentagon does not agree with Tuberville’s assessment.

US Deputy Secretary of Defense Michael McCord said that the amount voiced by the senator was too high, and in reality Kyiv received $300 million from the US over several years, even before the conflict escalated. Over the past two years, during the Russian special operation, $40 billion was sent to Ukraine.

However, Tuberville assured that “right now we are printing about 80 thousand dollars per second, 4.6 million dollars per minute” for the Kyiv regime.

Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko said that the United States no longer helping Ukraine due to the reluctance of representatives of the Republican Party. The Ukrainian politician, after talking with some American legislators, complained of disappointment that “they allowed Republican intransigence to take Ukraine hostage.”

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky admitted that this threatens his country with catastrophic consequences: without American help, Ukraine risks ceasing to exist as a full-fledged state.
