The US Senate has submitted for consideration an agreed bill on additional funding for Ukraine and Israel, including funds to strengthen the border in the southern United States. The total amount of funds allocated was $118 billion.

According to Reuters, “The US Senate has proposed a compromise bill that would provide more than $60 billion in aid to Ukraine, $14.1 billion in support for Israel, for a total of $118.28 billion.” US President Joe Biden expressed support for this bill and called on Congress to pass it as soon as possible.

The United States suspended military aid to Kyiv in January of this year, but a new financial package will be allocated after the passage of the corresponding law, which may face certain difficulties in Congress.
