CENTCOM: US troops destroyed Houthi missiles and drones in northern Yemen
The United States Central Command reported that the US military destroyed three attack drones, two anti-ship cruise missiles and three unmanned surface vehicles, continuing the confrontation with the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) ruling in northern Yemen.
The department clarified that anti-ship cruise missiles and unmanned surface vehicles were prepared for launch in the direction of the Red Sea.
“At the same time, the unmanned aerial vehicle was above them. All weapons discovered posed a direct threat to American warships and merchant ships in the region,” CENTCOM noted.
