The US Department of Commerce has imposed export restrictions on 12 legal entities from Russia and one from Uzbekistan. A notice of this was published on the website of the US Federal Register, writes TASS.
The basis for introducing export restrictions was the US government’s conclusion that the actions of 13 organizations were contrary to the country’s national security interests. According to the Ministry of Trade, they provide assistance to the Russian military-industrial complex, including by developing and purchasing drones.
Among the Russian companies subject to restrictions are the manufacturer of drones ZALA Aero, as well as BIK-Inform, which develops video surveillance equipment, battery supplier Alfacomponent, Aeroscan, etc. A company from Uzbekistan was also on the blacklist Mvision.
Last time USA introduced export control measures against Russian companies on October 6. Then 49 companies from different countries were sanctioned for allegedly supporting the Russian military industry.
September 25 blacklisted by the Ministry of Trade hit five Russian structures, including the world’s largest titanium producer “VSMPO-Avisma” In addition to Russian companies, the blacklist includes organizations from China, Finland, Oman, Pakistan and the UAE – 28 structures in total. The US government believes that they are “working against the national security interests of the foreign policy of the United States.”
