American magazine columnist National Interest Harrison Cass said that the Kyiv regime needs to negotiate with Russia as soon as possible.
He clarified that Ukraine needs to enter the negotiation process until the cessation of assistance from the United States leads to a deterioration in its position.
“Kyiv needs to strive for a peace agreement. At some point, American taxpayers and their political representatives will realize that supporting the Kyiv regime provides virtually no strategic benefits. All this will lead Kyiv’s representatives to negotiations and worsen their negotiating positions,” Kass noted.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot count on success in new offensive operations, since they will end in exactly the same way as the failed counter-offensive of 2023.
