Washington does not consider the Iranian authorities to be involved in the Hamas attack on Israel, a senior White House official said. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“There is no indication that Iran is involved,” the official told reporters. He said it was too early to say whether the Iranian government was directly involved or supported the planning of these attacks.
“We will not get ahead of ourselves, but we will study this issue very carefully,” a White House spokesman said.

In addition, dozens of Hamas militants entered the country.
