The United States expects F-16 fighter jets to be provided to Ukraine in 2024. Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder spoke about this on Tuesday, February 27.
The speaker of the American defense department did not specify the timing of delivery of these aircraft to Ukraine, noting only that Washington hopes for their receipt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine this year.
Earlier, the press service of the Elysee Palace released a statement by French President Emmanuel Macron, in which he denied any negotiations between Paris and Kiev on the supply of French Mirage multirole fighters.
Meanwhile, former Pentagon employee Stephen Bryan called for the resignation of the NATO Secretary General after his threats against Russia. Brian was outraged by Jens Stoltenberg’s statements that the alliance could resolve the Armed Forces of Ukraine use F-16 fighters to launch strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation.
