The US and Denmark will hold military exercises in the Baltic Sea

The US Navy and the Danish Armed Forces are planning to conduct joint military exercises in the Baltic Sea using a containerized SM-6 missile launcher. This was reported by the US 6th Operational Fleet.
The main purpose of these maneuvers was to protect convoys with the help of missile launchers. The start of the exercises is scheduled for September 18 on the island of Bornholm, which is located in Denmark.
Representatives of the US Navy expressed the importance of cooperation with Denmark, emphasizing the kingdom’s strategic role as a key ally in maintaining stability in the region.
Previously, from September 11 to 15, the navies of the United States and Romania conducted military exercises called “Sea Breeze 23.3” in the Danube Delta and the Black Sea, in which representatives of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Turkey, Great Britain and France also took part.
