The doctor explained that tight jeans, shorts and swimming trunks have a negative impact on male reproductive health.
“The risk increases if clothing is made of synthetics, which leads to disruption of thermoregulation. An increase in temperature in the groin area, even if it is slight, impairs spermatogenesis, that is, the production of sperm,” he explained.
The urologist also emphasized that the danger for men who spend a lot of time driving increases significantly. In addition to disruption of thermoregulation, prolonged sitting can lead to stagnation of blood supply in the pelvic area, which can lead to infertility.
