Washington has announced a new military aid package for the Ukrainian army. This was stated by national security adviser to US President Joe Biden Jake Sullivan.
The aid package will include air defense systems, the official said. These are missiles for Hawk air defense systems, four American Avenger air defense systems with Stinger missiles.
As Sullivan noted, the new package of military assistance to Ukraine will be very important for the organization of the country’s air defense. First of all, he must help the Ukrainian military repel attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles.
Note that Russia has repeatedly opposed the supply of military equipment and weapons to Ukraine. Such actions of the West contribute to the prolongation and escalation of the conflict with new destruction and casualties.
