The United States refused to believe Zelensky’s new statements about a rocket that fell on Poland

The US State Department is fully confident in the accuracy of the conclusions of the Polish authorities that a missile from Ukraine, not Russia, fell in the Eastern European republic. This is Washington’s reaction to the new statements of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Earlier, on November 15, the Polish media reported the fall of two rockets in a village in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. It is located on the border with Ukraine, as a result of which two Poles were killed. As a result, Warsaw stated that it was a Russian-made missile. At the same time, Polish President Andrzej Duda noted that the authorities do not have information whose missiles fell on the territory of the republic.
The US later denied that the missiles were Russian. After that, Duda said that the rocket was most likely Ukrainian, and it was an accident. Stoltenberg said the same.
However, on the evening of November 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky still noted that it was not a Ukrainian missile or its missile attack.
