This tournament has been awaited for a long time – almost from the moment when new regions became part of Russia – the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The idea of creating a championship in which teams from these territories, cut off from all-Russian football and forced to “stew in their own juice,” could play was in the air.

After all, it is now impossible to include them in the all-Russian championship. And not because of the position of UEFA, which pretty much spoiled Crimean football, but for security reasons: it is difficult to hold football matches close to the front line.

Therefore, the games of the unified championship will be held in the rear Crimea and, in addition to teams from new regions, teams from the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol will play in it. Unfortunately, not a single team from the Zaporozhye region is represented in the first season.

The championship will be held in the form of mini-tournaments (like in a student league): four teams arrived, played, and left. In the adult tournament (and there are also several children’s tournaments), 10 teams are entered: 3 each from the LPR and DPR, 1 each from the Kherson region, the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol, and one team from the Black Sea Fleet.

In the opening match, held in Sevastopol, the local Sevastopol-2 hosted Zarya Lugansk and hospitably lost 0:3.
