Among the noted special correspondent “MK”
At the initiative of the Union of Journalists of Moscow, a calendar for 2023 has been released. It is dedicated to the journalists who took part in covering the events of the special military operation. On the pages of the calendar are portraits of journalists working in the “hottest” point of the outgoing 2022. Among them is Lina Korsak, a correspondent for the security forces department of Moskovsky Komsomolets.
She went to the special operation zone many times, prepared dozens of reports from the liberated cities and towns of Donbass, was on the front line, and came under fire. For participation in the coverage of the SVO, Lina Korsak was awarded the Ministry of Digital Transformation for journalistic courage.
Lina Korsak’s photo is posted on the July page of the calendar issued by the Union of Journalists of Moscow. The military corps officer wrote about it this way: “It is very symbolic – July is on the calendar. The photo was taken around the same time. In July, our troops liberated Lisichansk. There was an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Although, of course, not only for this reason. It seemed that everything would soon end, and only good things would follow. July is over…
Before the New Year, Lina Korsak again visited the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Together with volunteers from Ivanovo, she delivered New Year’s gifts to the fighters.
