The UN General Assembly adopted a Russian resolution on the fight against Nazism

Members of the UN General Assembly voted by a majority of votes for the resolution presented by Russia against the glorification of Nazism.
The document, entitled “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,” was voted on by 118 countries, including China, Algeria, Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba and others.
49 states opposed it, including Canada, the USA, Ukraine and Japan.
Another 14 countries abstained.
