Ombudsman Lubinets: there are cases of deaths of mobilized Ukrainian Armed Forces a few days after conscription
There are repeated cases when those mobilized into the Ukrainian army ended up in frontline positions and died a few days after being drafted. This was announced by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine Dmitry Lubinets.
He emphasized that no one was punished for this.
“Indeed, there are shameful cases when guys were mobilized, a few days later they were on the front line and died. Have you seen at least one person who was punished for this?”, the ombudsman said in an interview with the publication “Public”.
Lubinets added that it is precisely because of these cases that a large number of citizens refuse to communicate with military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the TCC, because they think that they will be given a summons and will go to the combat zone tomorrow.
