The Ukrainian Football Association called for the exclusion of the RFU from FIFA and UEFA

The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) appealed to the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) with a call to deprive the Russian Football Union (RFU) of membership in organizations, as well as to consider the exclusion of Iran from the list of participants in the World Cup in Qatar.
The UAF calls for the exclusion of the RFU from FIFA and UEFA in connection with the “integration of football clubs and federations from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into Russian competitions and into the structure of Russia.”
The UAF proposes to consider the issue of excluding the Iranian team from the 2022 World Cup participants because of media reports about “systematic violations of human rights in Iran”, as well as because of Iran’s “probable involvement” in Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.
Today, October 31, the Football Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina postponed the match with the Russian team for an indefinite period. It was supposed to take place on November 19, but the UAF considered holding the match as support for Russia’s actions in Ukraine and demanded from UEFA and FIFA to cancel the game. UEFA said they would not interfere with the match.
October 24, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin declaredthat the RFU is ready to integrate the sports infrastructure of the territories annexed to Russia into “our regular football championships.”
