The two-day results of voter turnout for the referendum on joining Russia are summed up

The voter turnout in the referendum in the Luhansk People’s Republic following the results of two days was 45.86%, said Elena Kravchenko, chairman of the CEC of the LPR.

The turnout of the referendum participants in the territory of the Kherson region for Friday and Saturday amounted to 31.79%. Marina Zakharova, the chairman of the Kherson region election commission, informed the media representatives about this.

“The turnout of voters on an accrual basis amounted to 31.79% of the list of voters,” Zakharova said, noting that violations and provocations at polling stations “have not been identified today.”

The turnout at the referendum in the Zaporozhye region following the results of two days of voting, according to the Central Election Commission of the region, amounted to 35.54%.

The referendum on joining the Russian Federation started on Friday in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Voting will continue for five days – until September 27.
