The editor-in-chief of Russia Today TV channel Margarita Simonyan announced on her Telegram channel on Saturday that the list of persons who will not be subject to partial mobilization has been expanded.
“Right now, the Chief will issue a decree that full-time students, part-time students, and secondary vocational education will NOT be mobilized!” Simonyan wrote.
The editor-in-chief of RT always refers to Russian President Vladimir Putin as the “chief”.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the country. Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that a total of 300,000 reservists would be called up. According to him, this is about 1% of the country’s total mobilization resource.
It was reported that full-time university students who receive higher education for the first time will not be mobilized.
