The turnout in the presidential elections in the Russian-controlled territory of the Kharkov region was 92%. This was announced by the head of the Russian military-civil administration of the Kharkov region, Vitaly Ganchev.

“The presidential elections are over. After counting the votes of voters living in the controlled territory of the Kharkov region, Russian citizens, I can say that we have 92% of voters. With these numbers, our people showed how important this event was for them,” said Vitaly Ganchev. In addition, 10,760 refugees voted at polling stations in the Belgorod region.

As the Russian military-civil administration reported, at the end of January there were 35 settlements in the Kharkov region under Russian control. According to data as of June 2023, when there were 29 settlements under Russian control, about 3 thousand people lived in them.

Several stationary polling stations were opened in the Kharkov region, and mobile commissions worked in hard-to-reach areas. State Duma deputy Artem Turov observed the elections.
