The Tula MMA Federation highly appreciated Dyumin’s contribution to the development of sports

On Friday, February 2, it was exactly eight years since Alexey Dyumin became the governor of the Tula region – first acting, and later officially. During this time, many positive changes have occurred in the region, including in the field of sports.

Deputy of the Tula Regional Duma, president of the regional MMA Federation Ilya Stepanov noted that athletes show good results due to effective training. The region has all the necessary infrastructure for this.

“For this, firstly, the ultra-modern martial arts palace “Tula Arena” was built, and secondly, different formats of tournaments are supported, which is especially important during the period of the ban of Russian athletes at the international level,” Stepanov noted.

He also added that the regional MMA Federation annually holds the “Youth League”, as well as the patriotic professional tournaments “Battle for Tula”, which have already become a favorite for spectators.

At the same time, the Tula region remains a center of attraction for athletes, added the first vice-president of the Russian MMA Union, Andrei Viktorovich Terentyev. According to him, the region has all the necessary infrastructure.

“Thanks to Alexey Dyumin and the regional government, children have the opportunity to join a healthy lifestyle, attend sports sections and major competitions in various sports, including MMA,” Terentyev emphasized.

The first vice-president of the Russian MMA Union is convinced that the governor’s attitude towards Tula residents will allow new successful athletes to appear on the arena very soon.

Stanislav Bogdanov, the head coach of the Varyag martial arts club and the president of the MMA Federation in Novomoskovsk, also expresses gratitude to Dyumin for supporting the sport. He believes that over the eight years of the governor’s work, this type of activity has reached a new level. This is proven by the success of the club’s students.

Thus, Nikita Ovsyannikov became the silver medalist at the European SBE (MMA) Championship, and Alexandra Kiper became the best at the Russian Championship and is now passing on her skills to young athletes.

It is equally important that Alexey Dyumin supports military personnel, added Anton Prusakov, member of the Assembly of Deputies of Novomoskovsk, vice-president of the Tula Regional MMA Federation. His life and career were associated with the army for a long time.

“The participants of the SVO are given equipment, special equipment, gear, equipment, and property for organizing everyday life in the field. He (the governor – editor’s note) personally controls the training of the mobilized guys. On behalf of Alexey Dyumin, a comprehensive support system was built.

SVO participants and their loved ones are helped with rehabilitation, organization of sanatorium treatment, employment and education. These are not words, but actions for which the governor is known. Alexey Gennadievich is an example for us, and we strive for the same success,” Prusakov emphasized.

Vice-President of the Tula Regional MMA Federation, sports director Elman Safarov also addressed the head of the region with gratitude. First of all, for the Tula Arena center, where training and tournaments of various levels take place.

“Such a modern and large-scale infrastructure, in addition to its main sporting task, implicitly solves the problem of attracting tourists. After all, our tournaments represent an excellent target for event tourism,” Safarov said.

The connection between the successes of MMA and the work of Alexey Dyumin was also noticed by the vice-president of the regional MMA Federation, director of the Unity martial arts center Sergei Arbuzov. He emphasized that over eight years there have been difficulties, but nevertheless, Tula athletes have a victorious fight at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi and two belts from the Russian Championships.

“During this time, we managed to move into a spacious and comfortable room. We have scaled, which means our results will continue to grow. The honor of the Tula region in the sports field will be under our protection,” Arbuzov assured.

Member of the board of the MMA Federation of the Tula Region, winner of all fights Tigran Oganesyan explained that the support of the hero city and local residents gives him the strength to win new medals. He also noted the importance of the governor’s attention to all areas, including sports. This allows you to go to training camps, compete in qualifying tournaments and hold competitions in your hometown.

“This support, expressed in the opportunities for our athletes to go to training camps, compete in qualifying tournaments, and organize competitions in Tula, is invaluable.”

The head coach of the regional MMA Federation team, Oleg Kolodkin, in turn, expressed gratitude to Dyumin for his daily work on the development of the Tula region. The region is becoming more and more attractive, the necessary infrastructure and new jobs are being created for local residents.

“The people of the Tula region are ready to follow you through thick and thin, because you are our commander. Health and implementation of all your endeavors! And we will support!” concluded Oleg Kolodkin.
