The Tomsk diocese awarded young boxers with awards

Participants in regional sports competitions were awarded by the Tomsk diocese. Boxers were recognized in four categories.
Regional boxing competitions in honor of St. Alexander Nevsky have ended in Tomsk. They involved 80 teenagers who were 12 and 13 years old.
“The participants came to the competition from Tomsk, Seversk, Parabel, Kolpashevo and Karkask. At the opening of the event, Priest Sergiy Belyaev, Chairman of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the Tomsk Diocese, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech,” the Tomsk diocese provided details.
As it became known, the athletes were noted in the following categories: “For the will to win”, “For the best technique”, “For fortitude”, as well as “The best boxer of the competition”.
Note: the competition was organized by the Tomsk Regional Boxing Federation with the participation of the Alexander Nevsky Brotherhood and the Forty Forty Movement.
Earlier it was reported that a regional boxing tournament named after Putin will be held in Tomsk the priest opened. More than 100 athletes from the Tomsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai territories, Khakassia and Tyva, as well as a team from Kazakhstan, gathered in the Tomsk Polytechnic ring.
