The third season of the Navigators of Childhood contest has started

The Ministry of Education has announced the start of the third season of the All-Russian competition “Childhood Navigators 3.0”, the main goal of which is to train deputy directors of schools and colleges in the field of education, who will work in general education institutions.

According to the organizers of the competition, the task of such educational advisers will be to identify the interests, requests and needs of children, parents and teachers; create conditions for supporting children’s and youth initiatives through projects and programs of children’s public associations and organizations; work with children with deviant forms of behavior in order to include them in socially useful activities; support student self-government projects; organize volunteer activities.

“We see how school life has changed with the advent of advisers to education directors and the launch of the Childhood Navigators project,” said Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov. – The very atmosphere at the school is changing: the guys are happy to attend sections and circles, participate in extracurricular activities. All this allows to reveal the abilities and talents of schoolchildren.

The third competition “Navigators of Childhood 3.0” will have to prepare a new pool of advisers to education directors for forty regions of the country. The first competition in 2021 prepared such specialists for work in 10 regions of Russia, the second – in 49 regions of Russia. Thus, deputy directors of education will appear in schools and colleges in all regions of the country.

The contestants will be trained at the children’s centers “Artek”, “Mashuk” and “Ocean”, take part in seminars and forums where they can exchange experiences and gain new knowledge.

– The All-Russian competition “Childhood Navigators” has become the starting point for the formation of the institution of mentoring in our country. I am sure that the creative work of our advisers will become one of the fundamental elements of modern Russian education, – said Alexander Kudryashov, director of the Russian Children’s Center.

How to participate in the competition

To do this, you need to register on the platform navigatorschildren.rf. Next, you need to provide information about professional achievements, links to author’s developments on education and a letter of recommendation from the head of the educational organization, pass testing on legal, psychological, pedagogical and managerial competencies. After the evaluation of the works, the names of the winners will be published on the project website, from which a new reserve will be formed, which, according to forecasts, will amount to more than 30,000 specialists this year.
