The team of the Cascade of Kuban HPPs beat Stavropolenergo in the volleyball championship

The team of the Cascade of Kuban HPPs, together with the teams of Stavropolenergo, a branch of PJSC Rosseti North Caucasus, won the volleyball championship against the teams of Stavropolenergo. The competitions were held in honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day at the Olimp sports complex in Nevinnomyssk.
Before the meeting with the rivals of Stavropolenergo, the Cascade of Kuban HPPs organized its own competitions between the management and volleyball players of HPP groups (Sengileevskaya, Barsuchkovskaya, Kurshavskaya). The best athletes became part of the Cascade team.
Eight teams entered the fight for the title of champion of the competition (seven from Stavropolenergo and Cascade). The most emotional games were against Svetlograd and Prikumtsy.
As a result of heated battles, the team of the Cascade of Kuban HPPs became the winner of the competition. The second place was won by volleyball players of the Prikumsk Electric Grids, the third – by the Svetlograd Electric Grids. During the award ceremony, the winners received medals, cups, prizes and recognition from the audience.
Recall that this is the third joint sporting event of the Stavropol power engineers. Previously, together they held a bike ride on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of the founding of Stavropolenergo, and also met in battles during the Energy Spartakiad on the eve of Power Engineer’s Day.
Meanwhile, the Cascade of Kuban HPPs always actively supports the development of sports in the regions where its enterprises operate. Thus, swimming competitions among children are held annually on Water Day, and the sports schools of Nevinnomyssk “DYuSSh No. 1” and “Olimp” regularly receive support and assistance. In the sanatorium “Zhuravlik” in the course of the company’s charity program, children’s sports complexes were installed. The branch also has its own hockey team. Branch employees play football, volleyball and table tennis and annually participate in corporate sports days.
