The Tagansky Court of Moscow received an administrative case against Novaya Gazeta on discrediting the army

On January 11, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow registered an administrative case against the ANO “Editorial and Publishing House Novaya Gazeta”. This is reported in card cases on the website of the court.
The protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3. Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation …”). The court will consider the administrative case at a meeting on January 18, the court told TASS today.
As press secretary of the publication Nadezhda Prusenkova told Kommersant, the protocol was drawn up in December 2022, but it has only reached the court now. According to her, the reason was the text of Tatiana Britskaya in the magazine “New story-gazeta”. We are talking about the text “What a pop!” about Archpriest Andrei Tkachev.
Novaya rasskazh-gazeta magazine was created by journalists from Novaya Gazeta, whose editorial office suspended work in March 2022 due to two warnings from Roskomnadzor. The first issue of the magazine was published on July 15, 2022, the website of the publication was launched on the same day. July 24 Roskomnadzor blocked website of the Novaya rasskazh-gazeta at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office. September 6 court acknowledged invalid log registration.
