Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Head of the Ministry of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev and Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov signed an agreement on cooperation in the creation of the federal state information system (FSIS) “My School”. In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Digital Transformation receives the right to use the technological solutions of the Moscow Electronic School (MESH). Thus, Moscow developments will be able to be used by schools in all regions of Russia, RIA Novosti reports.
“I must say that the Moscow electronic diary is the most demanded content or service in general that citizens turn to, about 100 million hits per month, it’s just a unique service. I hope that it will also be in demand in the regions, and we will work together with specialists from the Ministry of Digital Development,” Mr. Sobyanin said.
“In particular, Russian schools will be offered to use an electronic diary, electronic journal, student portfolio and many other MES tools. It is planned that the main functionality of My School will be put into operation on January 1, 2023,” the mayor’s office said.
MES is a project for teachers, children and parents aimed at creating a high-tech educational environment in Moscow schools. The main goal of the project is the most efficient use of modern IT infrastructure to improve the quality of school education. The pilot project was launched in September 2016.
