He also said that in recent years, various “complex operations” have become available to Russians. In particular, as Ilya Balanin, head of the Foundation, explained, the CHI system includes high-tech medical care using “unique methods of treatment.” In total this year, the Ministry of Health of Russia distributed over 1.1 thousand operations worth 2.9 billion rubles among 20 federal centers. “All of them will be paid by the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund,” Mr. Balanin specified.
