The Supreme Court of Yakutia canceled the fine to journalist Timofey Efremov for the word “front” on the air. The publication writes about it “Yakutia.Info”where Efremov works.
The journalist uttered the word “front” on the air of the Dozhd TV channel (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign agent). For this, the Yakut City Court fined Efremov 30 thousand rubles for discrediting the army. A spectator filed a complaint with the FSB, believing that this word would discredit the army.
“Yakutia.Info” called the complaint speculation, it is noted that the author of the denunciation herself figured out the meaning of the statement. At the same time, the word “front” in the context of a special operation is used, among other things, by federal officials, Kommersant notes.
As a result, the judge of the Supreme Court of the republic, Galina Fedorova, sent the case for review in the first instance. The publication believes that this is not the final victory.
