The strongest magnetic storm is taking place on Earth. Leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Mikhail Leus, reported this in his Telegram channel.
“In the evening, the magnetic storm resumed again, moreover, after 19 hours 29 minutes, the magnetic field disturbance index, Kp, reached 8 units, which corresponds to a very strong magnetic storm of level G4!” the message says.
According to him, the last time such a high level of magnetic storm was observed on Earth was in April last year.
